
Providing benefit plans and insurance services since 1986, Tom Dyas currently administers and markets the Chambers of Commerce Group Benefit plan in the Okanagan. Relocated from the Whistler, BC area in 1997, TD Benefit Solutions works closely with the Chambers plan and other notable carriers to provide a wide range of options for group insurance. We provide local administration and service.
TD Benefits has contracts with many group benefit carriers and has the exclusive right to the Chambers of Commerce Group Benefit plan in the Okanagan region. When we receive information from our prospective clients, we can make sure that we provide the best rates possible. We also consider whether or not the company requires a Self-Insured plan.
Once we draft proposals, we meet with our clients to discuss any changes that need to be made to ensure that they receive the services they desire. Upon acceptance of the proposed benefit plan, we complete the appropriate enrolment applications, collect the premium payment for the first month and forward everything to the insurance carrier.
We then prepare booklets for each of our client’s employees; we insert their policy information and any wallet or drug cards, as well as a letter welcoming that employee to their new benefit plan. We then deliver and review the booklets and administration guides with the client so that they become familiar with the practices of using and making changes to their benefit plan.
